Amahoro Fellowship

Role: Project Manager & Co-Facilitator | Duration: 16 months
Project Overview

Across Africa, forcibly displaced young people face significant barriers in accessing opportunities for meaningful education, professional growth, and leadership development. These limitations hinder not only individual progress but also the broader socio-economic development of their communities and regions.

In response, NiaDelta partnered with the Amahoro Coalition to design and deliver the inaugural 12-month Amahoro Fellowship—a transformative leadership and entrepreneurship program specifically tailored for young leaders from displaced backgrounds across six African countries. In my role as Project Manager, Co-facilitator, and LMS Administrator, I was responsible for managing the implementation of the Fellowship, designing engaging experiential activities for in-person events, co-facilitating virtual learning modules, and overseeing the Google Classroom learning environment.

  • Equip young forcibly displaced leaders with essential entrepreneurial, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning community for sustained peer-to-peer growth.

  • Enable real-world application of acquired skills through practical, experiential learning opportunities.
